about us
Tich Access is a specialist access company based in the Scottish Highlands that provides bespoke access solutions for the weird and wonderful worlds of conservation and heritage. We specialise in projects on cliffs, carrying out inspections and interventions for rockfall mitigation or vegetation management with a particular focus on areas of Special Scientific Interest and places of historical significance.
With a background in climbing, cliff inspections and circus, owner Claire Lundy had an idea to form a company where the specialist skills from all these vertical disciplines could combine to provide solutions to the unique challenges presented by the coastal environment. From dancers being dangled over remote cliffs to conservationists looking for elusive plant life, we’ve been there and done it. Going into awkward places to look after people, creatures or landscapes is what we do. Assessing the risks and getting experts into consequential places to do their thing safely is what we love. Integrity and creativity are at the heart of what we do.
We will listen to what you need and find an access solution that makes the most sense for your project and the best value for your budget. Then we’ll use a multi-disciplinary approach informed by industrial rope access, forestry, conservation field skills and small boat operations, to get you wherever you need to go.
